WHO
Pennington Day is planned by a small group of dedicated individuals who keep track of the financials, the grants, and the details.
WHEN
Pennington Day is the 3rd Saturday in May.
Saturday, May 19th, 2018. 10am – 4pm.
WHAT
A street fair with local businesses, artisans, and non-profits.
Pennington Day has become one of the most important dates on the Pennington Borough and Hopewell Valley’s calendars.
WHERE
Pennington Day is held in downtown Pennington Boro along Main Street and adjacent roads intersecting Main Street.
WHY
To celebrate and strengthen the community we love and to spread joy amongst all who attend, perform and exhibit.
MISSION AND ORGANIZATION
Pennington Day’s mission is to further the borough’s community spirit and identity as a community and enhance its quality of life, while providing community groups, civic organizations and businesses throughout Hopewell Valley an opportunity to inform the community of their mission, allowing community organizations from within Hopewell Valley to raise funds through their sponsorship of Pennington Day events and/or the booths they set up, and finally, to make grants to non-profit, civic organizations, schools and municipalities for specific projects that serve Pennington and Hopewell Valley.
