Dear Pennington Day Community,
Like you, we take the health and well-being of our community very seriously. That is why we have made the difficult decision to cancel the street fair event for this year. We will miss seeing all the residents, community groups, civic organizations and businesses who attend, exhibit, perform and sponsor this memorable event. We will also miss awarding grants to the deserving entities that serve Pennington Borough and Hopewell Valley.
In keeping with the enduring spirit of Pennington Day and because many people in the community are asking how they can help during these challenging times, we are turning this year’s event into a virtual event that will raise funds to support the COVID-19 relief efforts.
Pennington Day 2020 is Going Virtual!
We might not be able to convene in downtown Pennington but we can still come together online to showcase our community’s remarkable talents. Please join us on May 16th for Virtual Pennington Day 2020 by:
Watching a lineup of musical performers on Facebook Live
Visiting the Hopewell Valley Arts Council art show featuring conversations with artists or live art installations
Taking a stroll down E-Main Street to visit vendors
To show our gratitude to all the brave individuals working on the front lines, please support Virtual Pennington Day’s COVID-19 relief campaign by:
Buying a limited edition Pennington Day 2020 T-Shirt
Making an online donation
All proceeds will go towards COVID-19 related relief – from increasing access to child care for essential workers and supplying food banks with food to purchasing gift cards from local establishments to feed employees at Capital Health at Hopewell – all help is welcome. Please stay healthy and safe and we look forward to Pennington Day’s return in 2021!
