Each year, the Pennington Day Board works with the Grants Committee to award funds to non-profit programs that benefit the Hopewell Valley Community. Grants will be awarded on Pennington Day.

Please note the following guidelines when applying:

• Grant applications are due May 2nd, 2025.

• All applications must be submitted via the following Grant Application form .

• All applicants must have a current and up-to-date 501c3 status to be eligible for a Pennington Day Grant.

• Applicants must be located in or their projects must serve the Pennington or Hopewell Valley Community.

• Pennington Day favors funding capital or special projects over funding ongoing operating expenses.

• Pennington Day does not fund "re-gifting" (i.e. scholarship funds) unless it is clearly demonstrated that the recipient will be aware that Pennington Day is funding the gift.

• Grants will not be made for religious or political purposes (i.e. political organizations, campaigns, mission trips). Religious organizations may be considered for facility projects, community events, etc.

• Grant awards will be presented to the selected grant recipient(s) (or recipient’s representative) at a ceremony during Pennington Day!
