What is Pennington Day?
Pennington Day is an annual street fair organized by a volunteer board. Pennington Day provides an opportunity for local non-profit organizations, community groups, and businesses to inform the community about their work and sell products. Sponsor donations and vendor space fees cover the operational costs of Pennington Day. Vendor space fees also fund a Community Grants Program for projects that will serve Pennington Borough and/or Hopewell Valley.
Where is Pennington Day located?
The Pennington Day fair is located on South Main Street (between Academy Avenue and Welling Avenue) and East Curlis Avenue in Pennington, New Jersey.
What size is a BOOTH VENDOR space (non-food) and where will it be located?
One booth vendor space (non-food) is 10 x 10 ft. If your setup exceeds 10 x 10 ft, you must register for additional booth space(s). Booth vendor spaces are located on South Main Street and East Curlis Avenue. Booth vendor spaces are separated by 6 x 10 ft open spaces.
What size is a FOOD VENDOR space and where will it be located?
One food vendor space is up to 30 ft along the curb. If your setup exceeds 30 ft, you must register for additional food vendor space(s). Please indicate the exact dimensions of your food truck/setup on the registration form, so that we can properly mark the area on the street. Food Courts are located in front of Toll Gate Grammar School and on South Main Street near Howe Commons.
How much does a BOOTH VENDOR space cost?
For‑Profit Businesses: $100 fee per space plus a $25 non-refundable registration fee per order added during checkout.
For-Profit Crafters, Artisans or Agricultural Businesses: $50 fee per space plus a $25 non-refundable registration fee per order added during checkout.
Non-Profit Organizations: $1 fee per space plus a $25 non-refundable registration fee per order added during checkout (limit one booth vendor space).
School Groups: $1 fee per space plus a $25 non-refundable registration fee per order added during checkout (limit one booth vendor space).

How much does a FOOD VENDOR space cost?
For-Profit Food Truck Vendor: $200 fee per food vendor space plus a $25 non-refundable registration fee per order added during checkout.
For-Profit Street Food Vendor: $50 fee per food vendor space plus a $25 non-refundable registration fee per order added during checkout.
Non-Profit Food vendor: $50 fee per food vendor space plus a $25 non-refundable registration fee per order added during checkout.

What is the deadline for registration, and are fees refundable?
The deadline for registration, permit applications (if applicable), and payment of fees is Friday, May 3, 2024.
The registration fee is non-refundable.
The vendor space fee is refundable if canceled no later than Wednesday, May 1, 2024 (by emailing a cancellation notice to vendors@penningtonday.org).
Do you have a waitlist?
Once all vendor spaces are booked, you may ask to be placed on the waitlist. Please email vendors@penningtonday.org.
How will I be notified of my designated space on Pennington Day?
You will be notified of your designated space by e-mail from vendors@penningtonday.org no later than 3 days before Pennington Day (please check your spam or junk folder if you did not receive our notification in your inbox). Your space will be marked on the street with a vendor zone letter and the number of your space. The Pennington Day Board will try to accommodate requests for a specific location, but placement in the requested location cannot be guaranteed.
Does Pennington Day provide a tent, tables, and chairs in BOOTH VENDOR spaces (non-food)?
No, booth vendors are responsible for providing, setting up, and removing their own table(s), chair(s), tent, and any other items within their 10 x 10 ft space. Pennington Day will not supply these items. The use of a 10 x 10 ft canopy tent is recommended.
Is there electricity at the booths?
There is no electricity available in BOOTH VENDOR or FOOD VENDOR spaces.
Are generators permitted?
Yes, but in BOOTH VENDOR spaces (non-food), the use of a generator is strongly discouraged. Booth vendors who plan to use a generator must indicate this on the online registration form so a suitable booth space can be provided.
FOOD VENDOR spaces in the Food Courts provide ample room for generators.
How do setup and breakdown work?
SETUP:
Vendors who need to drop off materials at their vendor space by car must arrive between 7 am and 8:45 am. Please note below the specific arrival times for vendors in different Vendor Zones (see Event Map for location of zones).
Arrival Time: 7 am - 8 am = Food trucks and any vendors in Zones A, B, C or D who need to drop off large equipment in their vendor space.
Arrival Time: 7:15 am - 7:45 am = Vendor Zone C (Main Street between Laning Ave and Academy Ave)
Arrival Time: 7:45 am - 8:15 am = Vendor Zone B (Main Street between Curlis Ave and Laning Ave)
Arrival Time: 8:15 am - 8:45 am = Vendor Zone A (Main Street between Welling Ave and Curlis Ave) and Vendor Zone D (East Curlis Ave).
During setup, Main Street is a one-way street running South to North between Ingleside Ave (Mercer Route 631) and Academy Ave. Please note, starting at 7:45 am vendors can enter the fair only via West Welling Ave.
Drop off materials at your vendor space and park your car on Borough streets before setting up your display. All vehicles must be removed from Main Street and East Curlis by 9 am to accommodate the YMCA Pennington 5K Race/Walk.
BREAKDOWN:
Breakdown starts at 4 pm. Main Street will again be a one-way street running South to North. Break down your display, fold tables, chairs, canopy tent, etc before getting your car. Leave empty cardboard boxes next to a trash can. The boxes will be collected for recycling.
Where can I park my car?
There are no reserved parking spots for vendors on Borough streets. Please comply with the Borough’s NO PARKING signs, as certain streets are marked for emergency egress.
What Covid-19 protocols are in place?
To reduce crowding, the number of vendor spaces is limited.
BOOTH VENDOR spaces will be separated by 6 x 10 ft open spaces.
FOOD VENDORS will be provided ample space around their setup.
The indoor Pennington Day Quilt Show may require the use of masks.
Pennington Day will operate in accordance with NJ Department of Health regulations.
COVID-19 PROTOCOLS MAY BE UPDATED CLOSER TO THE EVENT.
